2017:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Substance Use: Ethical and Professional Issues - A 1hr invited speaker to UBC Department of Psychology Graduate Course, PSYC 537 Ethical and Professional Issues in Clinical Psychology
  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Helping Professionals -  one day workshop provided through UBC Continuing Studies reviewing key theoretical elements and basic techniques of CBT. Risks, ethical limits and referral considerations are also discussed.  This workshop has been offered once to date in 2017.
  • Trauma Informed Practice: What is it and How do you do it? - A 1hr invited interactive workshop at the Quality Forum 2017 conference to improve quality across the continuum of care.  Audience members included managers, nurses, social workers, physicians, First Nations health leaders, and clients.
  • Psychological Treatments for Concurrent Disorders  - A 1.5hr invited presentation to Vancouver Coastal Health Psychology Residents on psychological techniques and diagnostic considerations when working with clients who use substances and also have other mental health symptoms.
